To ensure a smooth and professional experience, please review the following terms and conditions prior to your appointment:
1 | Booking & Service Terms
- Liability: Hidden Gem Detailing accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property—inside the vehicle, to the vehicle itself, or to the service location. Please ensure the vehicle is parked in a legal, safe place.
- Vehicle Readiness: All services are performed at the owner’s risk. Vehicles must be able to tolerate standard detailing methods (vacuuming, compressed air, pressure washing, etc.).
- Timing: Arrival windows and duration estimates are guidelines only; every vehicle differs. Unforeseen traffic, weather, or equipment issues may cause delays without voiding our cancellation policy.
- Rescheduling: We may adjust or relocate a booking due to staffing, weather, or equipment failure.
- Securing Your Spot: A valid debit/credit card may be required to confirm an appointment. Payments are processed via Square or Stripe.
- Right of Refusal: Service requests may be declined or halted at our discretion if they exceed the scope of work booked or if conditions are unsafe or unreasonable.
2 | Pricing
- Deposit: A non-refundable security deposit of 20% is taken at booking and applied to your final invoice.
- Hazard Surcharge:An additional fee starting at 20% may be applied if the vehicle contains excessive pet hair, bodily fluids (such as urine, vomit, blood, or feces), mold, or other hazardous or biohazardous materials. The exact surcharge will depend on the severity and extent of contamination.
- Starting Prices: Published rates are entry-level and may increase based on vehicle size, condition, or additional work required. Any price adjustments will be discussed.
3 | Communication
- We may contact you via text message to confirm appointments, provide updates, or request feedback after your service. Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier.
4 | Cancellations & No-Shows
- 24-Hour Notice: Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance to avoid penalties.
- Late Changes: Less than 24 hours’ notice results in forfeiture of the deposit and a 25% rescheduling fee.
- Grace Period: If you are more than 15 minutes late, the appointment may be canceled and the deposit forfeited.
- Hidden Gem Detailing may alter appointment dates/times for weather, staffing, or equipment issues without penalty.
5 | Service Guarantee
- If the quality of work does not meet the expectations of the selected package, Hidden Gem Detailing may, at its sole discretion, either re-perform the service or issue a partial refund for the portion deemed unsatisfactory.
- The service guarantee is void if any part of the vehicle has been cleaned or repaired—professionally or personally—without prior authorization from Hidden Gem Detailing, or if full payment has not been made.
- If a customer declines the opportunity for a redo, any refund provided will be capped at 20% of the total service cost.
- The guarantee does not apply to services involving undisclosed issues such as excessive staining, strong odors, biohazards (e.g., bodily fluids, feces), mold, mildew, chemical spills, or hazardous materials.
- Any service-related concerns or claims must be submitted in writing within 24 hours of service completion by emailing [email protected].
6 | Personal Items & Trash
- Please remove all personal items, large amounts of trash, and child safety seats (including car seats and booster seats).
- Compartments such as glove boxes, center consoles, storage areas and trunks that contain personal belongings will not be opened or cleaned.
- A preparation, handling, or excessive trash removal fee will be added if the vehicle is not cleared prior to service.
- Hidden Gem Detailing is not liable for any items lost, misplaced, or left behind in the vehicle.
7 | Vehicle Condition & Pre-Existing Issues
- Hidden Gem Detailing assumes all vehicle components—such as trim, buttons, fabric adhesives, and electronics—are in good working condition and can withstand normal detailing procedures. We are not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing issues, manufacturer defects, or wear and tear due to age.

Please notify us of any known fragile, damaged, or sensitive areas before your appointment so we can take appropriate precautions.

During service, vehicle doors may remain open for extended periods. To prevent battery drain, we advise checking that all interior lights are off prior to service.

Hidden Gem Detailing is not responsible for dead lights, drained batteries, or related electrical issues following the service.
